Advanced Life Support Course

Recipients: Graduates in Medicine or Nursing (Renewal of Certificate)

Duration: 16h, 2 days of Training ) Intensive course whose certification requires the passing of
an exam.

Information about the course:
The AHA VAS Course is considered an innovative course that focuses on the importance of Basic Life Support (BLS) and its integration with VAS. It is a course focused on teamwork, valuing the first medical approach in assisting victims of CRA.

Programmatic Contents:
Initial assessment of BLS and SAVC;
Approach to the victim in respiratory arrest – Airway;
Basic Life Support and Automatic External Defibrillation;
Situations of CPR (Megacode) and the concept of team resuscitation;
Defibrillation Rhythms and Emergency Monitoring;
Post-Resuscitation Care;
Acute Coronary Syndrome;
Stroke;
Bradycardias and Non-Defibrillable Rhythms;
Tachycardia;
Clinical Cases.

By taking this course you gain a competence for intensive care in the context of urgency and emergency.

A certification of the INEM (5 years of validity) and the AHA (2 years of validity) (American Heart Association)

Pediatric ALS Course

Recipients: Graduates in Medicine or Nursing (Renewal of Certificate)

The American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is designed for
healthcare professionals who intervene in any way in situations of Cardio-Respiratory Arrest
(CRA) in Pediatrics and in the approach to the critically ill child at risk of progressing to CRA.
